It’s 11:30 and my toddler is already asleep for nap today. We started the day bright and early at 6am and we were a bit of a tornado of emotions up until now. Some mornings I find it hard to be happy, when I’ve got two kids and two dogs all wanting and needing me and all I want to do is eat a hot breakfast and sip my coffee in peace for 5 minutes. But I am truly blessed and it does me well to remember this!
There are times when quitting is easier. Times when taking the hard road, the high road, the road less traveled, and the uphill battle seem impossible. They’re not impossible. The project you have to complete, it will come and go before you know it. The thing you’re dreading to finish, it will soon be in your past. For me, I have to remember that this season of my life will soon be in my past and instead of being happy about that it will undoubtedly make me emotional. These are my babies and while they are persistent and strong-willed, they are my life and I will miss being their absolute everything.
My motivational words to whoever may read this today are this; know that nothing, absolutely nothing is too difficult for you to achieve if you put your mind to it. That doesn’t mean it will be easy. It means that you hold the power to choose to continue fighting on. The ball is in your court! You’re never alone, even in your moments of weakness and doubt, you’re comforted by your God. Perhaps especially in those moments. All that is important is that you don’t give up. Don’t give up hope and don’t quit pushing forward to your goals and dreams, whatever they may be to you. Small goals and big dreams alike. It WILL pay off one day. You WILL be rewarded for your constant hard work and effort. Even if it doesn’t look like it will happen, it WILL happen because you are worth it and you are capable of great things.
Tell someone else today that they are worth it and they are capable of great things. They just might believe you! 🙂
